Workshop Overview
A writers workshop hosted by our publishing company offers artists the opportunity to share their songs in a supportive, professional environment while receiving valuable industry feedback. Songwriters are invited to perform their material for our team and fellow creatives, in a collaborative space where ideas can grow and connections can form. In addition to the listening session, participants will have the chance to step into a professional recording studio to capture high-quality demos of their songs. The workshop is designed to help artists refine their craft, experience the professional recording process, and potentially open doors for future collaborations and publishing opportunities.

Professional Song Feedback:
Artists perform their original songs for a publishing company and fellow writers, receiving constructive feedback to help refine their songwriting.

Studio Recording Experience:
Participants have the opportunity to record their songs in a professional studio, allowing them to create high-quality demos.

Agenda:

10:00 – 10:30 AM | Welcome & Introductions
Participants check in, meet the publishing team and fellow writers, and get an overview of the day’s schedule.

10:30 – 1:00 PM | Songwriting Workshop Session
A guided session covering songwriting techniques, lyric development, and pitching strategies.

1:00 – 2:00 PM | Lunch & Networking
A casual break for writers to connect, discuss ideas, and build relationships. Lunch is provided.

2:00 PM – 6:00 PM | Play and Pitch Session
Songwriters perform their songs while receiving feedback from the publishing team and peers.

2:30 – 6:30 PM | Studio Recording Sessions
After pitching their song, participants rotate through the professional studio to record demos while others observe or collaborate.

6:30 – 7:30 PM | Dinner Break
A casual break for us to connect. Dinner is provided.

7:30 – 9:00 PM | Closing & Next Steps
Wrap-up discussion, finish recording demos, feedback from the publishing team, and information about potential opportunities moving forward.
